Solid colors photograph best.
Try to avoid clothing with logos, if possible. Keep the clothing simple.
Put light colors together and dark colors together. Primary colors distract your eye from the child.
With most young children (under 4), one outfit will be enough.
Shoes are not required. Bare feet are much cuter than clunky shoes, in most cases.
If you would like your child to try wearing a hat, we will use it towards the end of the session.
Schedule your child's session at a time when they have been fed and are well rested.
Come prepared to relax and have fun. If you are nervous, your child may be nervous.
Feel free to bring your child's favorite toy, if you would like it to be in the portraits.
Avoid telling your child to say "cheese"
